RFID Handhelds

RFID handhelds are mobile computer devices with an RFID reader attached or integrated into the unit. RFID handhelds need to run a specific program on the device to control the reader and prompt the user through theapplication. Most RFID handhelds have a slightly smaller read range compared to fixed RFID readers. The output power and antenna characteristics of the devices are less than fixed readers, thus reducing the range.
