ODIN’s EasyTAPs are RFID network infrastructure appliances that enable scalable deployment of RFID for sustainable operations in any environment. ODIN offers several EasyTAP models suitable for installation at facilities with different levels of RFID implementation complexity that scale to support from 1 to 1,000+ RFID readers per site.

The introduction of EasyTAP to a facility transforms a collection of autonomous RFID readers into a reliable and scalable RFID Data Platform. Leveraging this architecture, the EasyTAP implements the RFID Network Infrastructure layer which logically resides above the RFID reader layer as an extension of the enterprise network. EasyTAPs can work with or without dedicated embedded RFID reader software.

The EasyTAP RFID platform includes a pre-packaged, open Java environment on which RFID edge applications can be hosted. Using a library of APIs for RFID sensors and other devices, ODIN’s partners and customers have built streamlined RFID workflow applications that run on the EasyTAP and leverage the performance, abstraction, security and redundancy capabilities that come standard with every RFID appliance.
